Watching the reply on a feed from Being Sports where and BFS is the guest. Before kick off, he says that Nolan could have easily played in the centre of midfield and suggested that Oxford was only playing as Nolan is Sam's guy. It didn't sound as vindictive when you hear it, but it just goes to show that while i'm grateful for some stability after a few shocking years, Fat Sam was never going to play any youngsters. Dinosaur indeed.

Richard "I'd Smash it" Keys followed up with "Ahhhhaha, the games people play, eh?" Well, no you mug, Bilic assessed his squad and decided who would be best for the position regardless of age.

Next Mark Noble from fordstar's perspective.

Another player for him to insanely jealous of.

Super Reece .

He is that good I am worried.

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
He actually didn't put a foot wrong. Amazing performance all things considered. I seriously would like him to start many games if he can deliver that every time.

We should get him on a long contract and build a team around him he will be that good. Looks a nice kid to boot.

Reece Oxford has been arrested after he was found to have £43M in his back pocket

I loved his interview, seems a bright lad with his feet on the ground. Not a gangster wannabe arsehole like Ravel.

A touch of genius to start him today.

He was very tidy indeed...didn't try anything outlandish, kept his cool, played the simple pass and defended well...amazing debut

In about the 80th minute I finally heard Ozil's name; I'd forgotten he was playing.

Love how Oxford said "Ogbonna just talked to me all game, and told me where to go". Great leadership, and a great performance from Oxford.

This win, and then the Ashes win have made for a fabulous weekend here.

Well done Reece!! Fantastic professional debut. A glowing career awaits.

I am still buzzing from today... I maybe too quick to say this in the heat of the moment, but that was the west ham way if anyone (sky pundits and journalists) and I think by the looks of things we all have our club back...

Roll on Leicester..

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
Maybe that's 16 year olds these days but to not be bricking it inside yourself shows total confidence.

To slot into the midfield like that and receive praise when playing against top class Arsenal midfielders is some going from the lad.

Well done Reece SON!

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
After the Ali Dia debacle, why does anyone take any notice of what Souness has to say?

I'd love it if a fellow pundit asked him how good he thinks George Weah's "cousin" is now?

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
Bobby Moore played 5 games in his debut season, and 13 the season after, so even great talents can protected until they're fully developed.

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
Great comment in the Mail story on his debut:

'The most impressive thing about his debut was that he made it with £42.5m in his pocket'

Completely nullified Ozil!

he'll be the best centre back in europe

Re: Buzzin for REECE OXFORD
watch the prematch sky interview with Souness totally flummoxed by the idea of a 16 year old making his debut away to Arsenal and you get an idea of the performance
